

Kirsten Harris-Talley (she/her) is an activist, community educator, and Queer Black mom who's honored to call Rainier Valley home for over 15 years. She is active in the #BlockTheBunker and #NoNewYouthJail movements for police accountability and the transformation of our community's carceral infrastructure. Kirsten is a founding board member of Surge Reproductive Justice and a founding circle member of Black & Tan Hall in Hillman City. She currently serves as the Executive Director of NARAL Pro-Choice Washington and previously served as city-wide Interim Seattle City Councilmember in 2017. Kirsten is running to represent the diverse #southend communities of the 37th Legislative District in the Washington State House of Representatives and bring her advocacy and her neighbor's solutions to the halls of Olympia.
